Youth Ministries Australia was founded in 1979 by Bill and Faye Hodgson as the youth ministry arm of Campus Crusade for Christ Australia. From our beginning we have served the local church in equipping those with a ministry amongst youth in building Jesus centred church and school based ministries.

YMA's core purpose is partnering with God's people to equip and mobilise leaders who will influence this generation for Jesus.

Our desire is to foster long term working relationships with kingdom-minded local churches, leaders, networks, para-church organisations and schools workers who are passionately committed to seeing young people become followers of Jesus.  This we will do through a number of initiatives which include:

>youth leader & student learning experiences
>ministry leader consulting & coaching
>schools ministry & internships
>mission projects & resources

We firmly believe that the life and ministry of Jesus provides us with a transferable model for our own life and ministry. Jesus' life also provides us with the essential movement principles needed for growing healthy disciple-making youth ministries.
